I’d like the memory of me

of smiles when life is done,

whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing

summer days.

grieve, to dry before the sun,
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.

To lose someone that you Love
and give them to the Angels above,
knowing we have to say goodbye
Then send their Spirit up in the sky,
yet knowing the place where they're to rest
Is in Heaven above a place we know is best.

It floated down from heaven
A feather white as snow
An angel passing in the sky
Must have let it go

In the hope it would be found
By someone sad like me
So I would know an angel
Was trying to comfort me

Angels are always close
They watch over us each day
White feathers are a sign
That they're not that far away
